ESSER III Grant Funds Stakeholder Survey

In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) act was signed into law, dedicating funds for K-12 schools through Elementary and Secondary School Education Relief (ESSER) III funds. As a result, West Hardin County CISD is eligible to receive one-time federal funds through the ARP ESSER III program. The purpose of these funds is to help sustain the safe and effective operations of our schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students. Additionally, at least 20% of the funds received must be used to address learning loss, mental health, and student well-being.

West Hardin County CISD is launching a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process to help determine how it should potentially spend additional federal dollars. All parents, district employees, students and community members are urged to complete a survey to help the district determine what to prioritize with the potential ESSER funds. School districts are limited in what they can use ESSER funds to support.

Please complete the following survey by 4:30 pm Friday, July 30, 2021. Thank you for your participation.
