School Cancelation Notice

Hello West Hardin Families,
As you know we remain under a “boil water” notice.  After examining our water on campus and after discussions with the Hardin County Health Authority and the West Hardin Water Supply Company, the safest thing for our students is to not use our campus water at all.  In an abundance of caution, we are cancelling school for students on Tuesday, February 23rd.  Beginning tomorrow, we will reevaluate on a daily basis and notify the community about school for the next day through FB and the district’s website by 2:00 PM.  The plan is to resume school the day after the “boil water” notice is lifted.
There will be no remote learning during this cancellation.  The TEA is granting waivers to districts who are having residual problems as a result of last week’s winter storm.
Regarding extracurricular activities, coaches/sponsors will notify students and parents about their particular activities.
