Update for October 5, 2020 @ 6:40 PM

The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. In the past few days, we have had a significant increase in students and staff either testing positive for COVID-19 or requiring quarantine. With the health and safety of our students and staff in mind, WHCCISD will be moving all students to short term remote learning as follows:

• Tuesday, October 6th - Student holiday and Teacher prep day

• Wednesday, October 7th - Short term remote learning begins -Students are expected to access their remote learning through google classroom

• Monday, October, 19th - Last day of remote learning 

• Tuesday, October 20th - Restart of on-campus learning

Technology:

• All students should have their devices

• Personal hotspots went home with some students today - only 1 hotspot is needed per household

• Families who do not have internet service and did not get a hotspot today, can pick one up tomorrow between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM in the main parking under the covered section where the busses drop in the morning.

Food service: Meals will be delivered via bus routes as follows:

• Wednesday, October 7th - breakfasts and lunches for the remainder of this week

• Monday, October 12th - meals for Monday and Tuesday of that week

• Wednesday, October 14th - meals for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday of that week and  Monday of the next week

Please contact your students' campus with any questions.  Please continue to practice the recommended health and safety habits.  The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority.
