Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

I began teaching in 2001, shortly after graduating from UNT and receiving my certification. My career started here at West Hardin in 2001, teaching 1st grade, all subjects, until 2006. Then I took 2 years off to stay home with my second daughter, and came right back to West Hardin in 2008, continuing to teach 1st grade. The opportunity to move to 3rd grade Reading/Social Studies came up a few years after I returned, and I jumped at the chance to give myself a change. This will be my 8th year in 3rd grade teaching Reading, and I absolutely love it!
