Chad Jones, Superintendent
Hello, my name is Chad Jones, Superintendent of West Hardin County Consolidated ISD. It is a great day to be a West Hardin Oiler! I am in my second year as the superintendent. This is my 21st year as an educator and during that time I have been a middle school science and health teacher, a high school biology teacher, a varsity boy's basketball coach, an elementary school principal, a high school assistant principal and a high school principal. I am married to Robyn Jones and have a 12 year old daughter, AJ and two step-daughters, Becca, 10 and Molly, 7.
We at West Hardin are excited to serve your children and this community in any way that we can. This is your school and we want you to play an active role in it. We have a dedicated, child-centered staff that will work hard to build relationships, engage students and involve you in making the best decisions for your children. One of our goals is to create a safe, engaging atmosphere where kids love to come to school. We want all students to pass their classes, pass STAAR/TAKS, pass EOC's (End of Course Exams), be involved in extra-curricular activities, and acquire the skills necessary to be college/career ready once they graduate from our school. From Pre-K through 12th grade, we want our students to be successful and need your help to make that happen. Our Elementary Principal, Mrs. Fran Bledsoe and our Middle School/High School Principal, Dr. Ralph Carter will be happy to assist you with anything you might need, so please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher if you have questions specific to the class and for other issues you may contact your child’s administrator. Once again, I am excited to be your superintendent and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
Have a great day and do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or concerns!! Go Oilers!!
