Kara Harrington

I'm the 3rd grade Math, Science and Social Studies teacher here at West Hardin. This is my fifth year of teaching. I taught 1st grade my first year here and moved to 3rd grade my second year. Every day is interesting and exciting. Not a day goes by that a student doesn't touch my heart and leave a lasting impression. I truly believe that West Hardin has the best students around!

I'm a 2000 graduate of Vidor High School and a 2007 graduate of Lamar University where I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for EC - 4th. I've been married to my wonderful husband, Jay for 6 years now. He is also a teacher. He teaches 8th grade U.S. History at Woodville Middle School. We have 3 beautiful daughters, Tabitha, Samantha and Jillian. We live in Silsbee, but don't mind the drive because not everyone can say they work or go to school somewhere as AWESOME as West Hardin!
