Why do I keep getting "Access denied" or "Page not found" errors?

Submitted by siteadmin on Wed, 09/05/2007 - 2:40pm.

Your web browser will keep saved copies of internet files for faster loading, but sometimes those pages are out-of-date and can cause problems for a website that's had new information added or updated.

Clearing your browser's temporary files:

From IE-Explorer: Tools -> Internet Options -> Browsing History -> Delete -> Delete Temporary Files
From Firefox: Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Cache

Also clicking the "Refresh" button (hotkey: F5 or CTL-F5) will often fix the problem as well.

If the problem persists, tell the website administrator your problem.
