High School FFA

The FFA students went to the District Contest at Dayton.  All of the students worked very hard, and did a great job.  Tyler Enloe did Jr. Creed Speaking and got 6th place.  Jordan Free did Sr. Creed Speaking and got 9th place.  And Abby McCoy, Elaina Williams, and Shelby Stephens did Farm Radio and they got 13th place (they did a great job they had to compete against High School Seniors, who have done it for 4 years).  They all did an excellent job, so if you see them tell them congratulations!!

On Thursday, October 15th, WH had 3 students exhibit their animals at the Hardin county Show. Abby McCoy showed her turkeys, placed 4th and made the sale. Tyler Enloe received 1st place with his goat and made the sale. Kassidy Steele received 8th place with her roasters, but did not make the sale.

On Saturday, October 17th, Abby McCoy exhibited her Beefmaster Heifers and got a 2nd place with both of them.

At the sale Saturday night, Tyler Enloe sold his goat and Abby McCoy sold her turkey to the same company, Advantage Plus Home Care.
