West Hardin Qualifies for OPS State
The West Hardin Golden Pride Band once again qualified for the State Outstanding Performance Series this past July. The OPS series is sponsored by ATSSB (The Association of Texas Small School Bands) The recordings submitted by the Golden Pride are judged at the region and area level before they can qualify for state. Each recording must place in the top two spots in order to go to the next round. West Hardin has now had recordings qualify on the state level for the past two years in a row and has ranked in the top 1 percent of all 1A bands in the state of Texas. CONGRATULATIONS Golden Pride Band!!!!!
JOIN THE BAND BOOSTERS
Any parent that has a student in the West Hardin Band program is a band booster. Please help our students by helping in the concession stand on Friday nights, making pillows and accessories from the band uniforms, or helping with fundraising events.
