High School, Office Administration

Hello, my name is Ralph Carter and I am the Secondary Principal at West Hardin County CISD. I am excited to be here for what will be my 2nd year at West Hardin. I am looking forward to what I anticipate will be another great school year. I want to take just a moment to tell you about myself. I am married and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I have served in various roles during my educational career including Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Special Education Director, and as an Adjunct Professor. One thing that I learned last year is that West Hardin has great teachers who strive each day to help all students succeed by passing their classes and their state mandated standardized tests. I would encourage you to take time to meet your child's teacher to form a partnership for continued success. I am eager to meet all of the students, parents, and community members as we work together to move our campus to the next level. My door is always open and I want you to feel free to come by anytime to discuss your cares, concerns, or successes. Let's all work together to make the 2011-2012 school year a great year. Go Oilers!
