Student as Contributor: The Digital Learning Farm
I found this article very enlightening. Computers can and are a very big asset to teachers and students. Using them effectively and efficiently is a lot of hard work in the beginning. Once the kids are trained, they will give you many new ways to use the technology. Students can and are very creative when challenged.

I agree that the computer age is not only here to stay but has rapidly changed the world as we know it. I do use technology with my students but not as much as I know I should. I get caught up in what I need to cover and forget there may be other, more technolgy friendly, ways to accomplish the same goals.

First Entry
This is an example blog entry for the Teacher's discussion group. This web-group is for Teachers, but any teacher can create his/her own group too. For instance, if a teacher wanted to create a 5th Grade Music Group, and students in her class could subscribe and post entries just like this; questions, answers, comments, etc.
